Tiered Pricing
Quantity discounts that actually apply at checkout — and stay tied to the live metal price, so your tier margins never drift.
Setting up tiers
- 1In the product editor, switch on
Enable Tiered Pricing. - 2The first row (Min qty 1) is always the product's own price — it's locked so your product page and your tier table can never disagree.
- 3Add rows for each break: e.g. qty 6 at a lower markup, qty 11 lower still. Each tier sets its own markup % and/or fixed amount; negative markups are allowed.
- 4Save. The Live Calculation Preview shows every tier's current price.
💡 Tip: Tiers are rules, not frozen prices. When spot moves, every tier price recalculates with it — your quantity discount holds its margin in dollars-over-melt terms automatically.
How tiers apply at checkout
The app installs an automatic discount powered by a Shopify discount function. When a customer's cart hits a tier quantity, the per-unit price adjusts in the cart and at checkout — no codes, nothing for the customer to do. The discount line shows the adjustment explicitly.
Showing tiers on your product page
The Tiered pricing table storefront block displays the quantity breaks to customers before they buy — with optional savings amounts and percentages. Setup takes one minute in the theme editor; see Storefront Blocks.
- The table updates live — no page refresh needed when the market moves.
- Prices convert automatically for stores selling in multiple currencies with Shopify Markets.
