Price History & Restore
Every price the app publishes is logged — filterable, searchable, and reversible with one click.
What's recorded
The Price History page lists each published change: product, old price, new price, when, and whether it was an automatic market update, a manual save, or a restore.
| Automatic updates | Kept for 24 hours — with updates every few minutes this is still thousands of entries, without the log growing forever. |
| Manual changes & restores | Kept for one year — the changes a human made stay auditable. |
One-click restore
Every history row has a Restore action that publishes that old price back to Shopify immediately. Two things to know:
- A restore is itself logged as a manual change — the audit trail never has gaps.
- If the product still has live pricing enabled, the next automatic update will recalculate from the market again. To hold a restored price, pause the product's live pricing or switch it to Fixed + Floor.
💡 Tip: Restore is the "undo button" for a mis-configured markup: fix the config, and if the bad price made it out, restore the last good one while the next update takes over.
