Storefront Blocks

Two theme blocks bring live pricing onto your product pages: the Tiered Pricing Table and the Chain Length Selector. Both install from the theme editor in about a minute — no code.

Adding a block to your product page

  1. 1From Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize (the theme editor).
  2. 2In the top dropdown, choose Products → Default product.
  3. 3Right-click the spot where you want the block (for example the price) and choose Add block before or after.
  4. 4Open the Apps tab and pick Tiered pricing table or Chain length selector.
  5. 5Click Save in the top right.
💡 Tip: The block appears on every product using that template, but it renders nothing on products where it doesn't apply — the tier table only shows on products with tiered pricing enabled, the length selector only on chain products. Safe to add once and forget.

Tiered Pricing Table — settings

With the block selected in the theme editor, the settings panel offers:

  • Heading — the title above the table (e.g. "Volume pricing").
  • Show savings / percentages — display dollar savings, percent savings, both or neither.
  • Compact mode — a tighter layout for themes with narrow product columns.
  • Highlight & accent color — match the table to your brand.
  • Appearance — light / dark to suit your theme.

Prices in the table are live and convert automatically for customers browsing in another currency via Shopify Markets.

Chain Length Selector — behavior

  • Replaces the quantity field with a length dropdown on chain products.
  • Sets the order quantity to the chosen length and records a Length property on the line item.
  • Shows the live total price for the selected length.

Troubleshooting

  • Block not in the Apps tab? Make sure the app is installed on the store you're editing, and that you're editing a product template (top dropdown → Products).
  • Table not showing on the page? The product needs tiered pricing enabled and saved in the app first.
  • Very old themes: themes that predate Online Store 2.0 don't support app blocks — contact support and we'll help.
