Precious Metals Price Updater keeps your Shopify product prices synced to the live gold, silver, platinum and palladium spot markets — automatically, around the clock.
How it works
You describe each product once — its metal, weight, purity and your markup. From then on the app recalculates the price from the live spot market every few minutes and updates the product in Shopify whenever the price changes. You never edit a price by hand again.

- Prices refresh automatically every few minutes, all day.
- Everything is calculated before it's published — floors, rounding and safety limits mean a bad price never goes live.
Set up your first product
- 1Install the app from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin's
Appsmenu. New installs include a 7-day free trial. - 2Click
Import Productson the Products page to pull your store's products into the app. - 3Open a product and pick a pricing type — Bullion, Jewelry, Chain, or Fixed + Floor.
- 4Enter the metal, weight, purity and your markup. The Live Calculation Preview on the right shows exactly what the price will be, step by step.
- 5Click
Save Product. The price publishes immediately and stays synced from then on.

Reading the dashboard
The dashboard answers "is everything working?" at a glance:
- Price Feed — whether live quotes are flowing from the market data feed.
- Live Pricing — whether automatic updates are running, and when they last ran.
- Products Live — how many products are being repriced automatically.
- Needs Attention — price changes held for your approval (see Price Safety).
Update now in the header forces an immediate reprice if you don't want to wait for the next automatic run.
